Baptism & Child Dedications
Elevate Life Church has a desire to see families equipped to leave a legacy that truly lasts. One one the way that we do this is through Parent/Child Dedication and Water Baptism. There's a journey for every person as they grow up. With milestones along the way. We call these Legacy Milestones. Legacy Milestones is a path designed to help parents lead their children through their life. It also is a road map that can be applied to anyone’s spiritual journey, young or old. The journey focuses on celebrations, milestones and core competencies for each age and stage. We stand beside you and help to equip you and your family for this journey through various events, opportunities and resources. The Legacy Milestone Notebook, your guidebook on this journey, as well as resources for each milestone are available at Elevate Bookstore.
Child Dedication – Legacy Milestone #1
Child dedications are a representation of you committing your child to live a life for God and for you as the parent to guide your child to a life centered around God.
Child dedication is considered one of our Legacy Milestone Celebrations and are held the first Wednesday of every month at our First Fruits Service. To watch a short informational video and to REGISTER, click below. Registration will close at midnight the Sunday evening prior to the First Fruits Wednesday service. Baptism – Legacy Milestone #2
One of the first steps after salvation is baptism. The purpose of Baptism is to identify with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, and to publicly declare that you are a Christ follower. We follow Jesus' Biblical model of baptism and we baptize by immersion in water.
Baptisms are considered one of our Legacy Milestone Celebrations and are held the first Wednesday of every month at our First Fruits Service.
Individuals or parents wishing to have their children baptized, must first attend Step One of The Elevated Life class that meets the first Sunday of every month during first service.
In Step One, we describe what it means to have a relationship with God, and the importance of water baptism.
