ELC Kids

A place to grow in God and have fun doing it.

What is ELC Kids?

Every weekend, infants through 6th graders experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible comes alive in fun and meaningful ways. ELC Kids is designed just for them, with engaging services that meet them right where they are. We encourage parents to bring their kids to ELC Kids rather than the main service, so they can grow in faith and enjoy church made just for them. Drop off begins at 8:30 am. We would love to welcome your family this Sunday!

  • Lil Voyagers: 0 – 2 years

How Check-In Works

New here? Check in your child at any desk in the ELC Kids lobby.

Returning families can use any ELC Kids kiosk—just enter your phone number to find your child’s name.

Need some help? Our servant leaders are happy to assist you at the desk!

  • At check-in, you and your child will receive matching ID tags for that day.

  • Your child wears the name tag; you keep the matching tag.

  • For pick-up, show your matching tag to your child’s room leader.

  • Keep your tag visible for quicker access through our secure area.

  • If needed during service, we’ll text you—please exit the auditorium and go directly to your child’s classroom.

The Ride Home

On the way home, we encourage you to ask your child questions like:

  • What was your favorite part of the service?
  • Tell me something you learned?

It’s our goal that every child has a positive experience at ELC Kids and can share what they learned by answering these questions each week. This helps parents partner with us in nurturing your child’s faith.

Things that matter to us

Every child's name tag is matched to a parent identification number for pick-up. Every servant leader, identified in a light blue ELC Kids shirt, is screened with an interview and federal background check to ensure their safety. Each hallway is secure and monitored  by security personnel and staff.

Our environments and content are created in a way your child will understand. We care about your child's development and meeting their needs on where they are at in life.

We value children's relationships so we create an environment each service where they can connect with their peers and leaders who know them by name. Our small groups provide a special time of discussion and connecting with relevant topics with kids their age.

These are intentional moments that help children understand who God is, who they are, and how to live out their faith as they grow.

  • Recognize important moments of growth and maturity

  • Build healthy habits that shape character and confidence

  • Create faith markers they can remember as they grow

We believe the Bible is the most amazing book ever written! Through skits, puppets, media, activities, stories and live worship, we creatively present the Word of God to keep kids engaged in the moment. We desire for kids to love God's Word and understand the value of applying it to their life.

Kids love to have FUN! We realize when children have fun at church, they get excited to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus through games, activities, singing, live acting, and more.

FAQ

Children may sit with you in the main auditorium, but it is  highly suggested for children to attend their age-appropriate service.

Yes. ELC Kids Special Needs Ministry is called the Pulse Ministry and is located within an interior sensory safe classroom in the kids area.

We recommend baptism when your child is able to personally acknowledge and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Typically, a child will be able to understand this around kindergarten-1st grade. Your child must also be able to hold their breath under the water. We do not baptize infants or toddlers, but we will dedicate them. Child Dedication is for birth to any age and happens quarterly.  Register for Baptism.

God wants to build and leave a legacy through our children. Dedicating your baby or child means that we know they ultimately belong to God. It is our hope that your child will discover God, experience His love, and choose to serve Him. Child dedications is for birth through any age and happen one a quarter. To register your child to be dedicated, CLICK HERE.

We send out a newsletter every month as well as give handouts to every child after service that are age appropriate and you can follow us on instagram @ELC_KIDS.
