On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Keith Craft delivered a bold and powerful message titled “The Spirit Filled Advantage” as part of The Advantage series.

The Greatest Advantage in Life
Pastor Keith shared personally that one of the greatest moments of his life happened at just nine years old when he was baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
He explained that throughout his entire life, the Holy Spirit has been his greatest advantage:
- In ministry
- In leadership
- In marriage
- In purpose
- In overcoming impossible situations
Because the Holy Spirit is not merely emotional inspiration.
He is God’s power operating inside believers.
The Holy Spirit Is More Than a Feeling
Using John 14, Pastor Keith unpacked Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit as:
- Helper
- Comforter
- Advocate
- Intercessor
- Counselor
- Strengthener
- Standby
Jesus promised believers they would never be left helpless.
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives inside every believer.
Without the Holy Spirit, Christianity Becomes Dry
One of the strongest themes of the message was the danger of trying to live the Christian life without depending on the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Keith explained:

- Marriage becomes exhausting

Invite the Holy Spirit Into Every Area
Pastor Keith challenged the church to stop limiting God to Sunday services.
Instead, believers should invite the Holy Spirit into:
- Their homes
- Their relationships
- Their finances
- Their careers
- Their parenting
- Their decisions
- Their future
The Holy Spirit was never meant to remain confined to church environments.
He is meant to guide everyday life.
Jesus Modeled the Spirit Filled Life
One of the most powerful sections of the message focused on Luke 4 and Jesus’ wilderness experience.
Pastor Keith explained the progression of Jesus’ spiritual journey:
- Jesus was full of the Spirit
- Jesus was led by the Spirit
- Jesus was tested in the wilderness
- Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit
- Jesus was anointed for purpose
This revealed a critical truth:
Wilderness seasons are often preparation seasons.
The Wilderness Is Not the End
Pastor Keith encouraged believers who are currently walking through difficult seasons not to lose heart.

“God, what are You trying to teach me?”
Because many believers never step into power because they quit during the testing season.
Full of the Spirit vs. Walking in Power

There is a difference between:
- Being filled with the Spirit
and - Walking in the power of the Spirit.
Pastor Keith explained that testing often develops the maturity, discipline, and obedience necessary to carry spiritual authority.
The Holy Spirit Gives Supernatural Power
Pastor Keith repeatedly emphasized:
“The same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you.”
That means believers are not powerless victims of culture, fear, anxiety, or impossible situations.

Stop Living Half-Stepping Christianity
With passion and humor, Pastor Keith challenged believers to stop living “half-stepping” Christianity.
Too many believers:

- Want anointing without testing
But God calls believers into full surrender and full dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Toward the conclusion of the message, Pastor Keith connected Pentecost to the biblical significance of the number 50:
- Jubilee
- Freedom
- Debt cancellation
- New beginnings
- Spiritual reset
He prophetically declared that believers are entering a new season marked by:
- Freedom
- Renewal
- Spiritual awakening
- Kingdom purpose

Pastor Keith closed with a powerful declaration:
